This is the email that Debby sent out to us here at Kelleher:
Arnie is home! They finally discharged him today. He is doing well, and is really craving a chili cheese dog from Wienershitzel. He still has the feeding tube in, but will see the doctor again next Thursday, and will hopefully get that taken out. The tests on 26 of the 28 lymph nodes that were removed, have come back negative for cancer. Still waiting for the tests on the other two. But that is still a big YOO-HOO!. I saw him on Saturday, and he looks great. The doctors did a fabulous job on the surgery and reconstruction. Pretty soon we’ll put a pair of cool shades on him and he’ll be our old Arnie again! I’ll let you know when any other news comes in.
I am so glad that he is home! I know it feels better to be at home than in a hospital! I will continue to pray for a quick and complete recovery!
Arnie, Cheri, Dillon and Hailey...Love you lots! You're always in my thoughts and prayers...I just have specific things to pray for now!
This is wonderful news. It has been a hard week, a friends 12 yr old granddaughter was hit by a car last week, they have called the family in to say goodbye. Another friends 1 month old niece has whopping caugh. It is good to have good news.
Yes, definitely good news! Praise God for the healing. We love you guys and are glad you have made it through the big first step.

I was outside last night visiting with my neighbor and having a beer, and I thought of you...and the rest of the family. I still have fond memories of our visits after work during the week, or the Friday night sit in front of the firepit visits! Good times!
